NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – The Northern Berkshire Adult Education Program is currently enrolling students for the spring semester.
All courses and services are currently conducted remotely. If possible, personal lessons are offered.
The Northern Berkshire Adult Education Program offers courses Prepare for the Massachusetts High School Equivalency Credential. In addition to courses to prepare for the HISET or GED tests, they offer courses to improve academic skills for entry into post-secondary education, apprenticeship programs, employment readiness, and basic academic skills.
The Northern Berkshire Adult Education Program is offering a digital literacy course starting February for those looking to learn digital literacy for the first time or improve their current knowledge base. The North Star Digital Literacy curriculum is used. Students enrolling in this program can take a legalization exam to demonstrate their proficiency in digital proficiency.
All Northern Berkshire Adult Education Program programs are free and funded by a grant from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education / Office of Adult and Community Learning Services.
